Using Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop. Wanted to add a second drive. The space is there, but nothing to connect it to. Is this normal Dell stuff or do I need to be informed about this kind of thing ?

Dell Inpiron 15 5000 - 8/2017
I just received my new dell 15/5000. After setup, I noticed that the touchpad buttons are integral with the touchpad itself, meaning that movement on the button moves mouse pointer which is very annoying. Is there a way to fix this? Also, while checking drivers for touchpad, it appears it only has the generic microsoft drivers. Searches on the dell driver download for this model do not show the "Dell" driver or software like seen on other models when searching this problem. It appears that with the dell software, you can adjust the touchpad area and move it off the buttons. Please help.

PC Fault
First of all, hello everyone. My computer was shut down 6 months ago when there was nothing. When I turned it on again, it turned off the full 29.56 minutes. What could be the reason for that. Thanks in advance (bios settings are up-to-date and there's nothing to do with shutdown)

Plugging to USB 3.0 - Scanner doesn't work
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26a. I plugged it to the Dell Inspiron 7567 . Printing and copying work fine, but scanner doesn't work. When I click '' HP Scan'' I get an information that scanner cannot be found. When I used Windows tool to fix this problem, I got the information that USB 2.0 Device cannot properly work with USB 3.0 . I have the latest drivers and I use Windows 10 Home 64 bit version. Is there any way to make scanner work? If yes, how can I make it on Dell Inspiron 7567 ?

XPS 15 (9560) Touchsreen Dead Spots
I just received my 9560 and had been playing with the touchscreen. I noticed there was an area where the screen didn't seems to work. On further testing I coloured the screen in OneNote and found there's a whole strip across the screen that doesn't respond.
The strip is across the bottom.
(The top I just didn't colour in)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
I ordered black and color ink on 08/13. First I was told my order will be deliver on 08/21 then somebody called at my house and then changed to 08/23. I received an email now is on 09.01//Yesterday a rep from Dell called at my house and told if I order for a commercial Metropolitan video card or something. At this point I'm furious, I never ever have to deal with this type of customer service. You guys are the worst. That's why I don't want to order anything from Dell. I need the ink pretty bad and Dell make me wait forever, and then when I checked my order online..they want me sign a delay order consent, I tried to do it but always I get an error message. Dell XPS 15 9550 with TB16 Dock Thunderbolt message
I just bought a Dell TB16 USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 dock for my Dell XPS 9550. I updated the BIOS and drivers for both units using Dell Command Update, but now every time I boot up my computer I get a message stating "your PC may need updates for the Thunderbolt 3 port to function properly. For more information go to thunderbolttechnology.net/updates". That link, in turn, refers me to the Dell page that tells me to do the updates I've already done.
It's annoying to get this message even though everything appears to be up to date. Anyone run into this and have a solution?

Charging power
I have a dell inspiron, the problem is that the charging light is flashing white after i charge mi computer and take the charger off please help its very annoying also when i restart my pc the issue dissapears but like i said when i fully charge and take the charger off the light stars to flash white again please help

Need advice cleaning my Dell i7559
Not sure if this is out of place but I really could use some advice on cleaning my laptop's chassis. The chassis for this particular model has is matte(I think) and is a serious fingerprint magnet. There are also smudges in various places possibly due to sweat. I want to clean it and just using a dampened microfiber cloth doesn't seem to be enough.
On another note, would it be okay to use the same cleaning solution often used for screens to clean the chassis as well?

How do I fix the black levels on my xps 15 9560?
I recently purshased a XPS 15 9560 UHD
The black levels appear completely crushed. Details in shadows are lost in photos and video.
This is what I have already tried : updating drivers (the latest possible), setting the gamma and brightness.
None of those worked. This is really frustrating for a new expensive laptop.
How do I fix this issue? Is anyone else having similar problems?

XPS 12 Ultrabook Convertible Not Going Past Dell Logo
My XPS 12 Convertible does not go past dell logo on restart. It shows the logo then goes off, then restarts again to the dell logo. I have tried pressing F2 or F12 but that does not work as the laptop goes off.
Has anyone ever experienced this and what was the solution? Or any guru out there know what I can do to sort this out.

Dell XPS 13 9350 Creators Update fails
I keep getting offered the update to Windows 10 Creators Edition, but each time I accept the update it fails. On shutting down, the update runs to 88% complete and then the computer shuts down. On rebooting I get a message saying, 'We couldn't install all the updates.' In fact, nothing has been installed and the system is unchanged. I have tried updating drivers and I think everything is up to date.

XPS13 9360, BIOS 2.1.0, TB16
Hello,
I had been using the TB16 dock with my XPS13 Linux laptop, no issues. Everything is perfect.
I upgraded my BIOS to 2.1.0, and now the USB keyboard and mouse (through TB16) stop working after a few seconds.
If I unplug and plug them in the TB16, they work for a few seconds, then stop again.
To use them, I have to connect them directly to the computer USB ports.
I have a monitor and speakers in the TB16, and they are still working fine. Ethernet connection is fine.
Perhaps TB16 needs an update now? Has anyone else run into this?

dell inspiron black login screen after startup
Hi,
Since upgrading to win10 my dell inspiron n5050 regularely gives a black login screen after startup. The only way of resolving it (temporarely) is hooking the laptop up to a screen so i can log in and then doing a complete shut down. After starting up again it i can log in normally. It occurs regularly whitout apparent reason, but performing a restart is a sure way to make this issue surface.
Having tried a few tips and tricks and being sick of having to hook up too a screen i come here looking for a solution. Hope someone can help.

ssd upgrade for dell inspiron n4010

I'm having dell inspiron n4010 14r and would like to upgrade with ssd. Its pretty old and would like to know whether it will increase the speed of system. I mean even though ssd is compatible but if the bus speed itself is slow ssd won't help. So would like to know whether its worth upgrading to SSD?
