Hi ginx32,

Start > in search box type in programs and features > select the Dell wireless 1703 driver right click on it and uninstall. Restart your computer.

You can also uninstall the Intel driver from device manager. Please follow the steps below.

Start > in search box type in device manager > under the network adapter > select the Dell wireless 1703 and right click on it and uninstall and check the box (delete the software for this device). Restart your computer and then update Dell wireless 1703 driver. Please use the link to update the Dell wireless 1703 driver.

In case the issue persists, please change the wireless properties settings and check if the network speed is improving.

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel >Double-click Network Connections>Right-click the wireless connection and click Properties>Click Configure>Click the Advanced tab>Select the Power Management setting, uncheck Default / Auto, and move the slider to Highest / Maximum Performance. In case the slider is already at Highest / Maximum Performance, move the slider to another setting and then back to Highest / Maximum Performance. You can also refer to the link below.
