I am running windows 8.1 on an M3800. All my USB port has stopped working, not rececognizing any attached USB devices. Windows is not reacting at all, more then giving power to the device.
I have scanned the net for a solution, updated my drivers and bios on the dell site, but come up short solving my problem. Doing the diagnostics on the Dell site for the USB ports, gave nothing since it states that they are working even though no connected devices comes up in there test. A have also done the diagnostics during startup (pressing the F12 key), uninstalled all my USB drivers, and installed them again. I have also tried "Plugable"'s workaround to use Intels USB drivers on win 8.1.
My Device mngr entry "USB 3.0 extensible Host controller" comes up both under USB Controllers (as working), and as an unknown device.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
