XPS12: too many recovery partitions on the HDD

I have an XPS 12 notebook with a single 120 Gb flash drive. It's not much by itself, and Disk Management in Windows 8.1 shows that there are two four recovery partitions on the HDD. The general drive layout is as follows:

(1) 500 Gb - EFI system partition

(2) 40 Mb - OEM partition

(3) 490 Mb - recovery partition

(4) 98 Gb - primary system & data partition (C: volume)

(5) 450 Mb - recovery partition

(6) 11,7 Gb - recovery partition

(7) 8 Gb - unknown partition (no filesystem recognized by Windows)

What are the last three partitions? They consume 20 Gb out of 120, and it seems too much. Partition #6 might contain Windows 8 installation files, but what are the other ones? What if I delete the last three partitions and use them to store my files?
