My Dell has been performing poorly for awhile, so I decided to do the factory restore from the USB. During the restore, it asked if I wanted to back up my files and I said yes. The whole process completed and after the reboot many system options and programs are not available.
I successfully used F12 to set the system to turn off secure boot and to boot from the USB recovery medium. Everything loaded great but when I went to try the restore again, it says "There is not enough free disc space. The recovery process has failed."
I ran the systems diagnostics from the boot screen and everything is ok.
I was able to access the internet (the browser seems to be the only program I can use) and downloaded Glary Utilities, ran a general scan and did a disc cleanup. Only 42GB of my 500GB hard drive is being used. The USB is a 16GB and has 8GB used.
Any suggestions?
