I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 - bought in 2012. Aside from the fact that its performance has left a lot to be desired since the day it was purchased, I cannot get it to boot past the Dell logo screen right now. The logo screen comes on, the status bar loads about half way, pauses for one second, then loads the rest of the way and the screen goes black. The the Dell logo comes back on and does it all over again - this cycle doesn't stop unless I push F2 or F12. I have run diagnostics and there are no errors. I have tried the tricks for removing static electricity to no avail. I tried changing the SATA Operation as discussed in another post but the other post was for a Windows 8 OS and I am running Windows 7. This other post mentioned it might have something to do with forcibly shutting down and then Windows 8 trying to do fast-start-up. Again, Windows * and not my OS. I have looked through many forums about this but none of the suggestions have been successful for me. HELP
