Jimmyb1234This morning sometime between 5 and 6AM the touchpad turned back on. Once again nothing would turn it off other than a reboot. When I came here to send you an e-mail I saw I had received another from you. I followed your steps until it came to the disable part. When I right click on the touchpad under the “Open mice and other pointing devices” I have four options which are <Update driver software>,<Uninstall>,<Scan for hardware changes>,and<Properties>. There was no <disable> option. The weird thing is right now I can not turn the touchpad “on” no matter what I try, but at some point tonight it will turn on and short of powering down nothing I do will turn it off. I’m trying to find out if something “scheduled” is happening around 5:00AM that is causing it to turn back on.

Does this context menu appear when you right-click the touchpad in “Device Manager”. If possible in your reply please attach a similar image of the Device Manager from your computer.
