*BEWARE customers, do not fall for the NO OS CD GIMMICK* I just suffered from it. I
have an Inspiron 14R and my windows does not boot. When I press F8 and select repair it shows the loading bar for some time and then nothing happens. A cursor comes on the blue background and nothing happens. There is no way for me to repair now and since I do not have the original CD, how am I going to get genuine windows now if I do a hard format and reinstall windows?
I need to backup my data first before installing windows again from a pirated CD, thanks to DELL who did not give me the original one and boasted about their backup thing which has turned useless now.
So how do I connect my hard disk as an external one to a laptop without buying external cases? Can I just use a normal SATA cable and connect it via usb without needing anything else? I have never used/seen a SATA cable before
