Thanks for getting back to me.
Sadly, none of that helped (I had done most of it already). I have also tried the latest drivers from Nvidia (320.18) but no change.
I feel like this is a BIOS / GPU BIOS issue or cooling issue with the laptop. I suspect most others are running at 80'C when fully loaded, but I've seen most other GPUs throttle at 90 'C and would be disappointed if I could not run normal speed (625 MHz for this GPU) when providing the laptop with a little more 'breathing room', as I am doing by raising the back off the desk.
Any more suggestions?
