Good day,
I have a couple of Latitude E6320 laptops around. Some of them are using older revisions of the BIOS, some of them are up to date.
The problem I have is that my laptops on the A19 revision can't boot into PXE for deployment, whereas laptops with A05/A08 boot just fine. Can someone else confirm that A19 has a problem or suggest a usable alternative solution?
Just to note; I tested one laptop on all 3 revisions mentioned above and it only booted into PXE with A05/A08. As soon as A19 was installed, no more booting.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any help would be appreciated.

Secure boot on Dell E6330 and Windows 10
I have a Dell E6330 with Windows 10 and the newest BIOS (A16-version). I have encrypted the harddrive using BitLocker and is trying to enable Secure boot in BIOS. to enable this you have to use UEFI BIOS but when that is enabled and i press "Add boot Option" is says "File system not found". What do I have to do to make this work?

Safe boot on Dell E6330
I am trying to enable safe boot on an Dell E6330 with lates BIOS (A16) and Windows 10. The harddrive is encrypted using BitLocker and I want to enable Secure boot as well. Under General -> Boot sequence I an trying to add boot options but I get the error "File system not found". What am I doing wrong?

hinge problem Inspiron 5558 series
I have the Inspiron 5558 laptop with Warranty up to may 2017. From the date of purchase I noticed that at the time of lifting the screen the hinges are not comfortable. When I reported to customer care about the problem they simply said " it is new product after some days you can be comfortable to lift the screen" But now after 5 and half months of being used at the right side big gap is there between the hinge and and the screen. I called customer care they said its not covered in warranty because its broken due to my negligence and i have to fix it by paying Rs-7000/- . I don't understand why dell is not willing to accept their manufacture fault as my laptop never fell down and i never misused it? I also have heard of the similar problem from my colleagues even.

Dell Rugged 14 Parts Info
Hi,
I just received a Dell rugged 14 (5404, P46G001). It does not come with a DVD/Optical Drive but I like to add one. Calling the support didn't quite help to get the part numbers It seems I need the following:
- Optical Drive Bezel
- Optical Drive/Tray load DVD
- Optical Drive Connector (according to the owner's reference manual). I looked inside my laptop and there is no such connector.
Please help to provide part number/order info and how to order them.

Dell XPS 13 9360 recovery image
hello,
I received my Dell XPS 13 9360, I7 processor with 16GB of ram, and i did what i usually do with a new laptop = in order to get rid of all the bloatware, i remove everything (including the recovery partition), and reinstall the OS with the drivers from the vendor, if needed.
The thing is the CPU shows as speed ranging from 2.7ghz to 2.9ghz (it should be 3.5ghz) and i only have a single power plan (balanced), with very little options to set. I tried installing all the utilities and drivers found in the windows 10 x64 bit section, and to download the recovery image (which it turns out to be a clean windows installation iso, not even wifi drivers included)
Any ideas where to get the required remaining applications/drivers? (in computer management i don't have any devices missing drivers)

Factory defect on Vostro 3560?
Hello,
I'm a long-time happy DELL laptop user. using products of yours in home and at work. I referred dell laptops to all my friends including my Dad. He bought Dell Vostro 3560 and just after waranty is over it is dead. It wasn't congested and it was used on normal daily basis on the table, fans were working and wasnt covered then switched off and never went back [*]. Since then it won't turn on i have checked and seems like mainboard is burned so probably there is nothing i can do with it anymore? Looking for help since we can't afford new one before christmas :( Did someone heard about factory defects in that Laptops? Could support help in any way ?

Latitude 7275 charging
The laptop came with a USB-C 30W charger "brick". The manual doesn't indicate what kind of USB-C port is on the laptop. I'm guessing since it's only 30W, that it's not USB-C w/ Power Delivery (up to 100W). Is it possible to use other USB-C chargers that supply 30W?

Error code: 2000-0142 - Don't have a recovery disc

I just run diagnosis in my laptop and got error 2000-0142, I have data I want to recover and copy to my external drive, but I don't have a recovery disc to boot the computer. I have another laptop which doesn't have CD drive. How can I create a recovery USB so I can boot the laptop with the fatal error and recover my data?

Touchpads and Tapping on Factory Shipped Laptops
This is a question for Dell:
Are you EVER going to change the factory installed build on your laptops so that tapping, i.e. "tap to click" is DISABLED?
Yes a lot of people like this feature, but there are just as many such as myself who LOATHE it. If laptops are shipped with tapping DISABLED, those who want it can easily enable it - they loose little functionality. However, in the current situation where Dell ship all laptops with it ENABLED, it is actually DANGEROUS!
I've lost count of the number of times files have been selected, deleted, dragged to God knows where or mangled in various ways, or options selected, deselected and applications unintentionally run because the damned stupid machine keeps misinterpreting my normal actions as taps. All until I have waded through several pages of user interface (not always obvious in some versions of the drivers) to turn the damned thing OFF.
Please, PLEASE disable it by default.

BIOS Doesnt boot properly
The BIOS does eventually boot my O.S, which is Windows 10. Though I did find a trick to speed up the 60 tries, (Resetting the BIOS to default settings) it doesnt work after a week of using it. I tried editing the MBR, (it was hard to access the X: drive) but it didnt work. I recently bought a Dell UltraSharp 24, which basically was the time when this happened. My computer is a laptop, a Dell Latitude E6520. I have a BIOS A15, and I dont know if I should update it. So my questions are:
Did anyone find a fix to this problem?
Or should I update my BIOS?

Dell 7720 Inspiron USB 3.0 drivers dead
I have seen yellow exclamation marks with the USB drivers !
I uninstalled all of them then restart and at that time THERE IS not a single
working USB socket !!! (before : 4 right sockets )
All sockets are "dead" !
I have windows 10 , please help me to reach my USB connections again !
I have the Driverbooster 4 program and all drivers checked !
They are all up to date and there is not a single MISSING driver !

Low FPS in games, only started happening recently
I need some help, I have the Dell Inspiron N5558 laptop. I use my laptop for studies and to play games on. When I first got the laptop I was able to play many games fine with decent FPS. Recently I have not been able to play any games at all because of the FPS issue, some games include League of Legends, CSGo and even minecraft. The FPS is so low that I cant even move in some of the games without glitching. I used Benchmark.exe to run tests on hardware and everything was fine, I used MSI Afterbunner to see if it was maybe the GPU temperature but everything was fine. I even sent the laptop in and no faults were found. Running tests via the BIOS also said everything was normal. Any help would be great.

Latitude E5470 random freeze when used with E-Port II
Hi,
I have a Latitude E5470 which is used with an E-Port II docking station.
Several times over the past few weeks the laptop has completely locked, dual monitors still displaying, mouse & keyboard not responding. If you remove the laptop from the docking station you get no display.They only thing that you can do is turn the laptop off by holding down the power button.
They system has the latest drivers/bios installed - all up to date in dell command update..
There is no pattern to the lock ups, happened at different times and whilst in different applications. Totally randomly.

Disable Touchpad Tap on Dell-1545 with Windows 10
Search for touchpad turned up over 27000 hits, so sorry if this is redundant.
Windows 10 has installed a generic PS/2 Compatible Mouse driver on my Dell 1545. No suitable driver is available for W10 from either Dell or Alps. (R270497 ran when I first installed W10 but MS has somehow decided it is no longer operable after the "Anniversary Update" and refuses to install it.)
I am happy with the way the touchpad works with my Alps touchpad exceptfor tapping. I am too clumsy to have tapping active, and would really like to disable it. Of course, the Dell Touchpad Settings software doesn't run on W10. Quickset gives me no access to touchpad settings.
Does anyone know how to disable tapping on that touchpad? Preferably a full-up package to make adjustment like Dell Touchpad Settings used to do. But I would have no problem editing the Registry if someone could point to the proper parameter that would disable it if no full-up package is available.

Can't Go Online after reinstalling Windows 7 64 bit on my Dell E6520
My hard drive died last week on my Dell E6520.
I got my hands on a new hard drive and after connecting it I reinstalled Windows 7 (64 bit).
All went fine. When windows rebooted the screen's resolution needed to be fixed and the computer could not detect any wifi signals nor could it go online via an ethernet wire, etc.
I tried reinstalling all the drivers from the 4 dell CD I had. However, nothing changed.
I went online with a different computer to dell's site and put in my service tag It only listed two BIOS files.
I am at a loss as what to do.

Dell Inspiron 7779 maximum RAM?
I have successfully upgraded my Inspiron 7778 to 32GB RAM with no problems. Is the same upgrade possible for the 7779?
The reason I ask is that the sales rep on live chat told me the i7 version which has 16GB, is single channel and the machine only has one RAM slot on the mainboard. This seems unlikely to me but I thought it was worth asking the question.
