Have you tried running the diagnostics using Fn + Power button?
If you are unable to run the diagnostics, you may follow the steps below :
- Power off the computer and disconnect ac adapter
- Remove the battery from the system
- Press and hold Power button and insert the ac adapter cable
If the issue persists, please elaborate what exactly happens when you press the power button.
Please reply with the findings. Will take it further from there.
