It will be fixed within10 business days, if they have spare parts. I would say that two weeks seem to be enough. In my case it was two weeks. I sent them the laptop but they did not have spare parts. I had to wait unitl they arrived. You have no choice you have to send the lapto to them. It is too expensive to replace mother board and a hard drive yourself. Plust, in this case, you have to purchase a windows 8 retail copy for your machine, which is extra 90 dollars. A lot of people complained about this issue. if you have dell office in your country, call them. I read that some people in Japan had the same problem and Dell Japan fixed them by replacying hard drive and a mother board.
