Let me know if you have performed virus scan on the system.

Also, please refer to the steps mentioned below:

1. Right click Computer and choose Properties
2. Click on System Protection
3. In the list of available drives, check if you have a partition name mentioned two times.
4. If yes, one should be with the word "Missing"  
5. Uncheck that partition
6. Restart the system and check if the system restore works
