Hi Darnell,

Please try the below mentioned steps and check if these steps fix the problem:

  1. Check if the connected hardware (mouse, keyboard, and thumbdrive) runs on another computer.
  2. Check in the device manager if there is any yellow exclamation mark, next to the “Universal Serial Bus controllers”.
  3. Uninstalling and re-installing the “Universal Serial Bus controllers” may fix the problem. To uninstall “Universal Serial Bus controllers”:
    1. Click the “Start” button and then choose “Run”.
    2. Type “devmgmt.msc” and hit “Enter”.
    3. Locate the “Universal Serial Bus controllers” and expand it by click on the “+” sign.
    4. Right-click and “Uninstall” one-by-one all the listed devices.
    5. Restart the computer.
  4. Once the computer is restarted the “Universal Serial Bus controllers” will be installed automatically. After all the devices have been installed try using the USB Port on the right side and check if the devices are detected and working.

 Do reply with results.
