This is my email to DELL support for 14Z poor wifi reception issue on yesterday. I just make a cc here to share out
I am totally disappointed & frustrated with the WIFI issue on my Dell 14Z, it had caused a serious disruption on my daily business task. My meeting on last Friday with my clients that are using HP, Dell, Acer & Toshiba notebook are able to connect to WIFI with 4 signal bar strength. Where by, my notebook is suffering with 1 bar weak signal & having the difficulties to maintain a stable internet connection. It keep toggle between connected & disconnected due to poor wifi reception
Due to this, I take the courage as per your advice to FORMAT the notebook & RESTORE back to FACTORY default image & updated WIFI driver to latest version 15.4.1.1 from Intel website. Sad to say that, the poor WIFI issue still remain. Please see a site by site comparison picture of my Dell 14z with HP notebook. Dell 14z is getting a POOR signal where else HP is gaining a constant FULL BAR signal! Here is the picture taken

I want this issue to be solved asap, to me it is a design flaw with this 14Z aluminium casing that causes poor wifi reception issue. I am totally not satisfy with this purchase & would like to request for a FULL REFUND if the issue can’t be solved. Thanks & hope to hear from you soon !
