the fan on it works great. i have looked at that.it will blow tons of hot air out the side and it doesn't show any signs of wear. i have a cooling pad. i am going to buy a better one. the question i have tho is it normal for it to hit those temps. i havent looked at the haeatsink directly but i havent taken it off. and when its not on the pad and hits those temps most of the heat is coming out of the side. i can hear the fan working. the other thing is i noticed that if i turn off turbo boost (by switching the power plan to a custom setting which has the max cpu at 99%) it doesnt get that hot it stays around 60 at max load. isnt turbo boost supposed to turn itself off when the " processor's power, current and thermal limits are reached" what does my cpu consider the max. i know the tjmax is 105 but that is way hot.
