Inspiron 1545

I am a technician working on a clients Inspiron 1545 .  The error message is "This computer system #<Admin Note: removed per privacy policy~RK>-595B is protected by a password authentication system.  You cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password."  What if any are my options to correct this?
