I have the above laptop which originally had XP but I have done reformat and installed win 7 32 bit. everything works ok but when I unplug the power cord the screen goes black, if I plug the power cord back in the screen powers up again.
I've upgraded the bios to a10 version but no help with this problem. I have noticed that none of the drivers have power options and power schemes do not show option for screen brightness when on power or battery. I have also installed quickset but this does not make any difference.
could someone help me with this?
