Hello, my Alienware 14 laptop recently had an infinite startup repair loop, no matter what I did it did not work so I decided to pop in my windows 7 installation disk, change the boot order in bios to start my installion disk and then I started installing windows 7, but it encountered a installation error, so I researched it and did the following in cmd ( remember I still can't get on pc )
Diskpart
Select disk 0
Clean. - yeah I know this like removes everything
Create partition primary
Select partition 1
Format fs=ntfs label="Windows 7#
I stopped their since the format did not work, and my installation error still persisted
I have a feeling the hard drive is broken or something , anyways my warranty is expired and The service tag fell off my laptop and is lost and I don't wanna spend any money to fix this, please help :(
