Hello Dell Support,
I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 and it won't turn on, as I get 8 beeps. I never dropped in or spill liquid on it.
Before posting this, I went through various posts and tried to fix it, but unsuccessfully. I can see that the problem is related to the LCD monitor. I tried the below:
- Pressed the "D" key on startup: Shows very dark colors, so dark that is difficult to see them and then, 8 beeps again
- Removed the CMOS battery for a minute and placed it back: Nothing changed
- Removed the LCD cable, cleaned the port and placed it back: Nothing changed
- Connected an external monitor and pressed F1 several times on the startup: External monitor shows nothing and 8 beeps continued as normal (tried both HDMI and VGA)
Do you have any further suggestions for this case?
Your response will be appreciated.
