I have the same laptop with a similar issue. I am trying to reinstall my Windows but to no avail.
So what I have tried:
I searched for an original Windows copy in MS official site - not provided. They said I need to use the Dell Support.
Then, I found this forum post, went to the help document provided in the previous post (thx ejn63), but the link in section 4: Manual Reinstallation is broken.
So, I have downloaded a pured Windows 7 SP1 from a torrent site. I have made a installation disk, but the installation is stopping on step "loading files". There is no message, the laptop suddenly switched off. Also I have test the disk on my desktop PC and it is working fine.
Now I don't know what to do.
