I bought a used Dell laptop Latitude E6410 from a private person in December 2013, with Windows 7 Pro 64 on it.
In monkeying around, the result was that its hard drive got completely wiped.
During 2014, I talked to Dell, and they said I could not get the appropriate discs or flash drive to install Windows; something about I needed to provide the name etc etc of the place I bought it from?
I was unable to get any help from the seller.
The computer is in fine shape, has its sticker with service tag on the bottom.
What can be done to get Windows on this, as it used to be?
My friend loaned me his HDD from a broken HP computer; it would not boot on mine.
