Hello,
Can somebody help me understand the rationale of having the laptop running video using the integrated Intel graphics card when the laptop is supposed to come with a R7 M240 card with 4Mb of dedicate memory? Why is the integrated card not turned off, actually it seems to be the one controlling graphics. How do you switch from one to another (in my desktop I remember one time adding a PC-express card required to turn off the integrated card from BIOS-CMOS, but in the BIOS of this Inspiron I don;t see any reference to video card selection).
I already had to help myself repairing issues of computer logging -off when connecting to a second monitor (thanks to community instructions; unbelievable Dell doesn't fix it prior to shipping), and fixing this required forced update of the Intel integrated card, which clearly says it is the one controlling the laptop's graphics.... why? Why not the dedicated memory card R7 M270 with 4Gb memory? How do I address this? Am I missing somethig?
Thanks
