Hi all, my son stood on my Ultrabook lid and cracked the screen - its still usable but not very pleasant to look at and might end up getting worse. Its an XPS Ultrabook L322X 13 with non-touch 1920x1080 screen. Screens are hard to find and expensive - £299 - not worth paying for a machine 2.5 years old IMO. However I did find one that might fit that's half the cost here , however its the touch version with same resolution. Does anyone with experience of tearing these laptops down know if this would work, even if I didn't/coudn't connect the touch connectors (not fussed with touch)?
