Good morning,
I am running a Latitude E6510 for a few years.
I want to upgrade the system setting an SSD 256Gs as primary bootable storage,
and keep the current HDD in place, as an internal storage for backups.
I do understand I can do that using a tray (caddy) to set the SSD inside the CD bay.
However, I would prefer to set the SSD on the WWAN card slot available on my system and keep things simple.
But, there is a question :
Would the E6510 system, after due BIOS and Driver updates,
recognize and manage an SSD mSATA plugged in WWAN card slot,
as a valid SATA Bootable Primary Storage.
I plan to use a Samsung 850 EVO 256Gs mSATA form factor.
Information and advice are welcome
