Latitude E7440 USB on Docking Station not working

Hi

I am hoping someone on here can help me to fix this problem. 

We have a Latitude E7440 with an E-Port docking station.  The docking station works fine with the old laptop however when I connect the E7440 the USB mouse and Keyboard are not recognised. 

I have updated all driver (including BIOS which is now running on A14). 

I also receive an error about battery not being charged when laptop is docked even though the docking station is plugged into the mains.
