Hey everyone! I've had a Dell XPS 12 since a couple of months after the release, and I've been pretty happy with it. However, my warranty expired, and I need a couple of replacement parts.
The bottom cover on my laptop (bottom part, I dunno what it's called) slowly has been losing screws. I don't know entirely why, I've never taken it apart. Dell support has taken the bottom off twice for different issues, but I doubt that would do much. Regardless, I think holes the screws go into has been stripped, or has worn away over time, or something. I'd very much like to get a new bottom replacement, and some accompanying screws. I already have a screwdriver that can fill the need.
Also, less pressing (at least for now), but still something I kind of worry about, is that the battery is slowly wearing away. After owning this for ~1.5 years, battery life is 75-80% what it used to. Is there a place I can go to buy a legitimate replacement battery? And does anybody have experience replacing the battery? I know the bottom cover is a snap to install, but I'm not sure about the battery.
Thanks everyone!
