I just got a vostro 5480 and one thing I noticed that the Fan comes on for a shortwhile now and then, and when it does come on its fairly loud.
I also have a Vostro 5470 and the fan on that one is really quiet and rarely comes on.
The bios on the 5480 is the first revision though, so perhaps the thermal tables on that can be further tweaked with future bios revisions
Anyone noticing the same thing?
