I have reformatted the Laptop back to Factory Settings, I don't know when this happened but since either doing the re-installing of the OS or the Refreshing of the PC, when I come to turning on the laptop from a shut down state, the hard drive can be heard booting up, yet no indicator lights come up, nor does the power button, the hard drive will spin for 20 seconds then stops.
after this, even if i try to press the power button again, no lights come up and the laptop doesnt boot. just the HDD spinning up and the stops.
I always have to remove the battery and hold down the power button to discharge the laptop before it will boot properly.
