Need help with Dual Boot over separate internal drives - M4700

Howdy folks,

I installed a second internal drive, and I was able to install Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on it via a USB boot. However, when I start up the laptop, it keeps booting into windows - which I expected; I did the same thing for my desktop a month ago. However, unlike my desktop, on my M4700 I seem to be unable to set the BIOS such that it will boot from the second drive, the one that has Linux and GRUB on it.

In fact, the BIOS of my M4700 doesn't seem to be aware of my second drive. During start-up, before I get into the BIOS, I also get a message from Rapid Storage Technology to press CTRL-I in order to "do some configuring".

Also, when I explore my BIOS, under System Configuration->SATA Operation I notice that RAID ON is selected. My other choices are disabled, ATA and AHCI. To be honest, I don't know what I am doing here, hence this post.

If someone could be so kind to give me some advice or additional insight, I would appreciate it tremendously.

Thanks in advance

Galto
