System - Dell inspiron 15 R 5521, windows 8, intel 1.8 GHz i5 3337U cpu
My HDD crashed 3 weeks ago so I am trying to install windows 8 on my new HDD from my backup DVDs created by dell backup and recovery. I am constantly getting this error " error 0x4001100200001005 if problems persists contact Dell support "
On reading several threads on this forum it looks like I need OEM windows disks but I don't find any disk ( except cyberlink media suite dvd ) in my laptop box. Please help me out I am stuck with the dead system. I don't want to purchase a new windows license.
