I am running an Alienware M11x Laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit version.
I have been having an odd problem for a while now. When the charging cable is disconnected for more than a few seconds at a time, and I plug it back in, everything works correctly. However If the charging cable is unplugged for a minute or more, when I plug it back in, the keyboard will not work. It will only work when the charger is unplugged. The only way to fix this is to reboot the laptop, however that can be a real nuisance if I am in the middle if something and the charging cable accidentally comes unplugged and I don't notice it right away.
I have not clue what could be causing this or even what to try to fix this as a first step. Any help is appreciated.
