I had some intermittent problems with the black screen, thought nothing of it , cause I would just turn it off and wait. then on the next try it would be fine, but this has been four days of nothing but a black screen with a cursor. and on march 16 I paid for dell to check all systems remotely too.
none of the posts about this problem seem to fit - no dell logo, no f12, nothing!
oh and just incase dell people here is the Service Tag <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>from that Mar 16 call.
