I have encountered few problems with my Dell laptop ( N5010) since I had reinstalled my windows and H.D. ( replaced with a Seagate ST1000LM014)
The first problem is that when I try to run HD test from Dell support centre application it says it cannot run SMART test. I have updated HD firmware but it still does not work.
The second problem is that after I had replaced my LED screen, it worked fine but I found this error message when I ran the diagnose "LCD CABLE NOT DETECTED". The LCD is working which means all connections are working as they should. Any suggestions?
The last problem is function key,F3,which brings up battery information. All other function keys work fine e.g. Wireless, brightness, volume... Is it a software issue or Hardware malfunctioning? Any suggestion to resolve it?
