Hi, I am looking to buy the XPS 15. I need 1TB SSD which Dell wont sell me (frustrating since other companies offer it) . I am struggling with buying the 512G SSD model with larger battery versus the 1TB HD/32G SSD. I hate the idea of paying for 512 GB SSD model only to replace the drive immediately, but seems like it would be more straight forward to upgrade. The 1TB model would be cheaper to upgrade, but seems problematic to do so based on searching these forums
Are any of you aware of a clear step by step instructions on how to upgrade with either option or input on best way to go? I am not an IT expert, but have replaced a defective drive once in the past.
