Hi,
I have an inspiron 15 which refuses to boot and doesn't even POST when the power button is pressed, either when connected to the mains with the battery in place or removed, or when running off the battery. It beeps once every 2.6 seconds and then continues to do that for several minutes until I hold down the power button to turn it off again. I've tried removing the RAM and re-seating it but that hasn't helped. The laptop has not had a hard life in the slightest, it's barely 1 year old, sees limited use, it's never been dropped, and nothing has ever been spilled on it. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this please?
