I am hoping someone here may be able to point me in the right direction. I have a Alienware 14 that I have been very happy with for the last year. The only thing that seems to be giving me issues is the bluetooth not connecting to audio devices.
I have contacted customer support to my great displeasure the "technician" got me to connect to a go to meeting so she could take a look. She then put me on mute and installed drives for an Acer Aspire and shocking enough it didn't work. Not only did it not work all my existing peripherals (Mouse, tablet ect.) would no longer pair. I was then told my devices most likely were not compatible with Windows 8.1, and be sure to give her a rave review when the customer satisfaction survey came in.
After cleaning up that mess and getting my drivers back and pairing my devices again I am still running into the issue of no audio devices will work.
My device is a
Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0
From the Devices and Printer interface the issues that show up from my Laptop are (Virtual Bluetooth support) and the Bluetooth LWLFT Device.
