My Studio 1747 battery is dead so I have to buy a replacement. My original config lists the following:
P047P 1 MODULE, BATTERY, PRIMARY, 85WHR, 9C, SIMPLO |
W077P 1 BATTERY, PRIMARY, 85WHR, 9C, LITHIUM, SIMPLO |
On the battery itself is the number 0N853P.
I would like a 6 cell because I don't use the battery that much and I'd like it to be lighter weight than the 9 cell I had, but at this point I'll take a 9 cell if it's all I can find. Although batteries that claim to be for the Studio 1747 abound on the internet, almost none of them list the product number on my old battery (many list 0N856P), or any of the numbers listed on my original config list.
Is there anyway to know what product numbers are compatible with one's machine, like a master list or something somewhere? Or does anyone have experience replacing the battery for this model laptop who can guide me? Thanks in advance!
