kristina robitsch,

On the XP system, you need to have installed Windows XP SP2 or Windows XP SP3 to be able to use WPA Security.

Try connecting to the Belkin using No Security. Can you connect?

Try connecting to the Belkin using WEP Security. Can you connect?

When you change too WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security(Personal) you probably will have problems connecting. The Belkin has problems determining the difference between WPA-PSK and WPA-AES, so it does not connect.

You can check firewalls and virus programs but I have tried this with another member and a wireless print server, using WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security(Personal) and the wireless print server would not connect to the print server using the Belkin but it would connect using another brand. Unless Belkin has corrected this problem with a firmware update, you may be experiencing the same problem.
