Thank you for your reply. We hope you  have been able to test your computer for the battery reading issue you were facing on the system.  

The Inspiron 7720/17R (SE) comes with 3 buttons on the topright corner known as the Quick Launch Buttons or Hot keys. They are:-

Windows Mobility Center Launch Button- Left
Preset Audio Mode Launch Button - Middle
Dell Instant Launch Button (User programmable) - Far Right

Click on the link below to download and update Quickset driver. Select the operating system as per your computer prior to downloading and installing the Quickset driver:
