Ok, so it is 3 weeks later and I finally received replacement modules for the Hynix 2x2GB DDR2 6400's. I now have 2x2GB Samsung 5300's with 8 chips per side and I have the EXACT same problem. I cannot get the D820 to POST with both 2GB modules installed. BIOS A10. It will boot with one 2GB module installed, and it will boot with a 2GB and 512MB installed so I am back to an unanwered question of why, or just what needs to be done in order for this system to boot with 4GB RAM?
