Vostro 3555 Sketchiness

Just a few questions/problems

First off. Why is our chipset driver that of a A70M FCH when CPU-Z clearly defines it as a A60M? Along with the unreliableness of USB3? Could be completely coincidental. Could just be my only USB3 HDD's chipset. Could be potatoes. Could be Charlie Sheen. Whatever. I find it sketchy.

Clik here to view.

Secondly, has anybody gotten 64bit Ubuntu running off the disk or USB on any version higher than 11.04? I don't know how to verbose mode that so the best way I can define the problem is that the loading screen freezes and the disk/USB stops trying to read unless an ACPI command is sent ie. power button. Still doesn't move past loading screen however. I've heard that C1E can bother Linux on some chipsets and I know Llano supports it but the BIOS refuses to give me that option.

Thirdly, I think ACPI isn't exactly where it should be after 5 BIOS revisions. I have to force shut it down sometimes because it wont turn off after the OS is unloaded after a shutdown command. Gotta hold that power button. Does the same with a restart command occasionally. Also, I don't think its supposed to go into suspend mode when the lid is closed during a shutdown. I may just be impatient. Computer may just be retarded. Could be Charlie Sheen again. Who knows.

Feel free to discuss other issues you've had this with lappytoppy please.
