Ever since my harddrive was replaced by dell and they reinstalled Windows 7, the touchpad gestures on my Dell xps 17 (L720X) wouldn't work. I've tired everything and nothing seems to get it to work. I've updated all the 'important' and 'optional' windows updates on my system. Also, I've tried installing the touchpad drivers from the Dell website. However, the "Synaptics Synaptics TouchPad" driver seems to install while a "fatal" error always occur when I attempt to install the "N-Trig Multi-Touch HID Device" driver. The message "hardware cannot be found" keeps appearing on the screen. What can I do to get the touchpad gestures to work?
