add me to the list (I started another thread on this didn't see this) of 7 beeps of death people. Bought my 5030 at a Best Buy in Austin around Christmas 2010 brought it back with me here to Korea where I work. Took it today to the Dell Walk in service center here in Seoul, they just told me it was a "processor failure" and would get back with me on the costs etc.
Based on what I've read here I really doubt it will be worth fixing even if I can get them to do it for no cost (has anybody heard from Royan?) given all that it keeps happening after getting repaired. We have a couple of huge electronics markets here in Seoul and I can get an HP etc with Windows in English for around the price of getting this one repaired.
I'm really disappointed in Dell being from Austin and having a bunch of friends work for Dell. This will be the last one I buy
