When exactly does the system shuts down?
Is the battery able to hold charge?
Please check the Battery Health Meter:
- Right click on the battery icon on the taskbar
- Choose ‘Dell Health Meter’
- Click on ‘Battery Health’ tab
- Examine the information shown in the window. Please check all the tabs
Would also suggest you to check with an alternate battery (if available), if you experience the same issue.
