Hi you all,  

 i'm having issues with mbam here, not running encryption, some how they are existing machines, so i did work once lol. i tried several troubleshooting and i'm stuck. I think dell stopped produce this model, might be bios issue but the latest v. a10 doesn't work. Task sequence and encryption does work in all others models i have here, i do believe could be the usb nic, you need be careful once use their mac add in other machine it might not work for a different one, gpo would not recognize a sequence task for your computer. there is a small setup for reset that but not the case here, What i was looking at its the mbam admin log, and basically i've got is "access denied by the remote endpoint" task category "volume Enactment failed" while applying mbam policies . if anyone has got same problem and sort it out, would be great a lil help here, thanks .

Hello,  I have a Dell E6410 laptop with the "Latitude On" feature but I'm experiencing strange power on behavior.

When I press the regular power on button, nothing happens. I can only start the laptop by pressing the Latitude On button.  However,  the regular power on button will turn off the laptop with no problem.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Hi I have an inspiron 15-7537 running windows 10, and have been getting really intermittent network problems, basically. the adapter shows the cable is unplugged, and I have to disable it and re-enable it.

I've tried driver updates but the latest one for this is from 2015, I've also gotten so sick of it I just formatted and I'm getting the same problem.

has anyone ever come across anything similar?

The drivers download page no longer lists W7 x86 for drivers?  They were there a couple of months ago, but not now, and I have not been able to find anything stating that W7x86 support is being dropped.

Hello!

I have do say, im very dissopointed in Dell. Why? I'll explain you.

I bought Dell Inspirion (Service Tag: <deleted>) 15 2013, in may 2014 i had first issues, fan did work always on full load and computer was very slow. So official service did replace motherboard, when i did go after my laptop and wanted test before going home with it, it didnt work and i left it in service, they did replace motherboard 2nd time. Eventualy i got my laptop and everything did seem fine.

Everything was fine until september 2015, HDD did lose connection with motherboard and screen did go black. So i did go back to service and they did say its motherboard, so once (3rd time!!!) again it was replaced.

Now, 2016 laptop doesnt work again, they say its motherboard but Dell doesnt give a <profanity>, because guarantee is over.

So technicaly ive been in 3 years, almost 2 months without computer and same issue all over again. In my humble view, Dell should finish their job and provide me working product, even tho guarantee is over.

Maybe im hoping to much and big companys like Dell doesnt really care, if customer is satisfied.

I apologize for my disgruntled mood and bad english!

I just received my brand new Dell XPS 15 wich is supposed to have a 1TB disk along with a 32GB SSD disk,

Since the booting of the machine is terrible slow I looked for the 32SSD disk, but Windows filemanager does not show it.

Is it hidden or just somehow not active (or even present?).

Do I need to activate it?

A few days ago I updated my windows 10 next boot it took a longer time, but I disregarded that. Next boot it gave me a blue screen saying that BCD has an error in it, error message 0xc000000d. I tried using refresh, and a restore point but to no avail. Refresh can't take effect and restore point can't detect an OS. I tried bootrec: bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd. The first two worked but didn't take effect but the other two didn't work. I tried switching to Legacy boot and switching from Raid to AHCI and back. I got a new error this time. Its still BCD but it's 0xc0000098. I can actually access C:\ now but everything is corrupt and the Intel Manager in Legacy boot says that my SSD is disabled. I tried every forum I can find to no avail. Any suggestions? Anyone had this problem?

My specs:

Alienware M17X R1

Intel i7-4700MQ

nVidia GeForce GTX765M

Windows 10

Don't know the rest

So I have a Dell Latitude E5570 and I'm wanting to install Windows 7 x64 Ultimate on it so we can use Bitlocker.  I was able to create the flash bootable flash drive, add the OS to the drive, embed the USB3 drivers, etc.  However, when I boot I can select the USB device as a UEFI device and it looks like its going to start the install, but then it just hangs at Starting Windows.  The system is currently running Windows 7 pro in legacy mode, but I'm needing Windows 7 ultimate in UEFI mode to run bitlocker (the TPM used by bitlocker will not work if the OS was installed using legacy and the BIOS UEFI).  Thanks in advance

Hello,

Even though there are plenty of threads about cleaning the carbon fiber, this is not one of those cases.

I play games, and because carbon fiber catches oils and sweats easily, I used to have a glasses cleaning cloth on palmrest while playing game (to cover from sweats due to heat.)

But eventually, I think the colors from glasses cleaner was washed off onto the palmrest and now it left green stains on it.

Does anyone have a suggestion or an idea how to clean this off? It is not easy to notice it but it keeps bugging me. I tried using one of makeup cleansing tissues and it did not work.

Hi everyone.

I have a Dell M3800 workstation and am looking for a replacement trackpad for it.

It seems the trackpad is coming away from it's housing, and is raised up.

I am also having a lot of difficulty getting the right click to work, so I am looking to put a new one in.

I have trawled through a number of part suppliers and contacted Dell, but I am not finding one.

Could anyone help me out?

Hi,  I have numerous E7450 making faint beeping sounds from the underside of the laptop.  I have tried replacing the system board and heatsink.  On some of the computers it beeps more rapidly then others.  You have to hold it to your ear to hear, but is bothersome for the users.

Hi,

I have an Inspiron 3421 laptop which has just passed the warranty by 3 months. It was OK till today.

This morning when trying to power it on, it gave me 7 beeps in a row and nothing was seen on the screen. I've found some question about the same issue previously and saw the support's answer about reducing the static charge (I did that procedure but nothing changed).

I understand that it's an indication of a processor problem. I didn't see any response related to the simple answer is this fixable or the laptop next stop will be in the trash can?Maybe it's not fixable at all regardless of the cost, I have no idea. Should a new CPU be replaced or maybe it's a whole motherboard that needs to be bought?

Can you please refer to this issue as widely as you can.

As the title says - the Latitude 7350 I have will not upgrade to Windows 10. After downloading and installing the Windows 10 upgrade, it boots to the Dell Logo and stays stuck there.

I have tried to disable secure boot and enable legacy ROMs, but this has not solved the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I bought a Dell Inspiron laptop this March vis MS online store.  It worked fine for the first three months then it began to have a couple of warning windows popped up at startup and shutdown.  I called Dell tech support and they took control of my computer twice but said they couldn't fix it.  They concluded it was some hardware problem and that I needed to ship out my computer for repair.  This sort of communication went back and forth and has been going on for almost 3 weeks but I am still waiting yet another call from Dell.

Someone suggested me posting my problems here for someone might be able to tell me what they were.  The power supply warning happens randomly at startup while the memory warning shows up, also randomly, at shutdown.  

Are those really hardware problems?  I  shipping the laptop out because I don't have a backup computer and I worry about having to reinstall everything.  I have very little knowledge in computers.  Please advice.n computers.  Please advice.

It will work fine and then all of a sudden it says shutiing down and then shuts down..It may do it 2 or 3 times in a short spna,and then be fine for hours,and then do it again..This thing is only about a little over a month old and I am very upset....

I recently dropped my laptop and there after it shutsdown  after some minutes

And when I turn it on it says "Your system automatically powered itself off because it became warmer

than expected. This may have been caused by:

o) operating or storing the system in an enviroment where the ambient

temp is too high or,

o) obstructing the air flow from the system fan vents.

i have a dell vostro i bought with a bad harddrive. after replacing the harddrive and installing windows 7 on it, it started to freeze on me after i installed the Nvidia graphics driver.

i searched online and i thought it was an overheating issue. so i downloaded speedfan and the temparature was about 76-84

so i bought new thermal compound and cleaned all the inside of the laptop. 

after finishing cleaning and putting new thermal compound 

the tempersture dropped to 50-70 it worked fine for about 1 hour, after that it started to freeze again,

then i uninstalled the Nvidia driver and the freezing stopped. 

i did a bios update and installed all drivers up-to-date

i am still having the same issue.

the temperature is about 46 and it freezes. 

when it freezes i cannot do anything. i can hear the fan speed up,

there are no beeps or lights.

i get an error after step 3. On the boot menu, under UEFI boot, select your media type (USB or DVD) and enter your language.

the error message i get is "BlInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001"

any help would be greatly appreciated
