I purchased a Inspiron 7559 from the Dell Outlet in February and somehow 3 keys have come off my keyboard at different times since then. I do not abuse my laptop in any way and nobody else uses it but me. The keys that have come off got hard to press and I would try to see if I could press them down so they'd go back to normal but that didn't end up happening.
I sent an email to Technical Support through Dell's website and received a response telling me the issue was due to the regular wear and tear of the system. I was then told that Dell has a specialized authorized department that takes care of the cases which involve physical/accidental damage, Cosmetic wear and tear or where the parts need to be replaced when there is no Complete Care Cover active on the system. I was then directed to the "Out of Warranty" department?!?
As I said before I haven't abused or damaged my laptop and a keyboard should last longer then a few months? I was always under the impression that a keyboard was an integral part of a laptop or desktop's operation? I've never had issues in the past getting a keyboard replacement when any Dell laptop I've had was still under warranty.
Keyboards aren't covered by Dell's warranty anymore?!?

Intel PROSet/Wireless drivers for Dell XPS L701X
Hi,
I have an XPS L701X with Windows 7 x64.
My WIFI card is an Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6250 AGN with the original drivers that came with the laptop, both are from 2010, v.13.1.1.1
According to Dell Download Page:
Intel Intel (R) WiMAX Link 6250, v.tic TRFXW0115MUP, A06-1
Intel Intel (R) WiFi Link 6250, v.tic: TRWFW1127D, A03
According to Intel Drive Utility Update, the latest driver for this card is v.15.11.0.7.
Should I update the original Dell driver to this Intel driver or not? Or should I update to the latest Intel driver v.19.1.0

Stuck at dell logo screen
Hey my PC dell inspiron 11 3148 is frozen at logo screen.
I tried restarting it
It restarts when I long press power button for 10 sec. But again stuck at dell logo.
It was working till last nyt very without any problem.
But today this happened
But nothing worked for me
Also f2 & f12 keys are not working here.

dell inspiron 15-3552 not charging, getting mixed responses
So, just under a year ago I had bought a Dell Inspiron 15-3552 laptop and it has mostly been a reliable and durable computer. However, I've had an issue with the charger (or charger jack) twice now. The first time was pretty straightforward. It was an issue with the jack (had to plug the charger in at a certain position, computer lagged with it in, "plugged in, not charging", etc.) and I got it repaired relatively quickly. But this time around, I had an identical problem (except now the charger has stopped working entirely) but the place that I usually go to for this kinda stuff was persistent about this being a charger issue.
So like anyone would, I went to best buy and bought a charger. Despite the fact that the moron said that it would work with my computer, it didn't (and the dude didn't even allow me to return it). After that whole thing, I decided that I'd just look on the dell website for a compatible charger. However, as shown by this ( image.prntscr.com/image/2ab2913161c0448b9d186f2a33b61243.png ), there was no option for an Inspiron 15 3552, leaving me very confused.
TLDR, I need two answers.
1) Is this an issue with the charger itself, or the charger jack?
2) If it's the former, is there any way I can get a list of chargers compatible with this computer?

Dell XPS 15 - screen flickering

I own a Dell XPS 15 (Skylake) and I´ve noticed that the screen flashes now and then.
It doesnt get all pitch black, it´s more like it dims/flickers for a second...
I´ve tried to restore the computer and installed the most recent intel&nvidia drivers.

My Dell Inspiron 7348 auto shutdown, how to fix this

My name is Khang, I bought a laptop Dell Inspiron 7348 (Service tag 4GWSB32) when I was in Seattle for business in May last year.
Just about recent weeks, my laptop shutdown unattended after few minutes or 20-30 minutes depend on what I am opening.
I ran F12 check or Support Assist tool, but they seem not showing anything wrong. I doubt this situation is related to CPU over heat at 70 C degree.
After shutting down about 10minutes, laptop automatic turn on, but when I use it, it will turn off after a while.
From discussing in Dell’s forum, I see instruction about disabled Intel speedstep may fix this, but I don’t have code for unlock setup.
Please show me how to fix this.

Inspiron 7559 doesn't boot after HDD upgrade
Hi everyone,
I want to exchange the HDD in my Inspiron 7559 with a normal SATA SSD (I have a Crucial MX300 750 GB).
I did that, and when I'm starting the PC now, the screen stays black, although the light on the power button turns on. To clarify, I can't enter the BIOS, I don't see the DELL logo, the screen just turns, and stays, black. After switching back to the original HDD, the system behaves normally.
First I figured that the laptop required some files on the HDD to start, so I reinstalled the original HDD and cloned it via the Crucial cloning software. That didn't help, the screen still stays perfectly black.
I tried detaching power-adapter and all USB devices, to no avail.
What can I do here? I don't want to keep using the original HDD until Amazon finally has my M.2 SSD in stock. I already updated the BIOS to 1.1.8, after which I was able to boot from the SSD ONCE, after the next reboot the problem was back.
I'd appreciate your help!

Dell XPS 9343 Bluetooth issue
I have an issue with my computer in which when I connect two different pair of beats, one being powerbeat wireless and my other beats which are beats solos. When I pair the devices through Bluetooth, 1 minute into a song or just after pairing the sound cuts off. When I go into playback devices, the sound bar moves up and down signalizing that there is sound playing but nothing is heard through the headphones. I believe there is a connectivity issue between any Bluetooth devices and my computer. I have tried updating the drivers and repairing the devices but with no luck.

CPU speed stuck
I'm using Dell Inspiron 15R N5110, which has Intel Core I7 2630QM. I recently installed Windows 7 SP1, uninstalling Windows 10. I ran Windows Experience Index and CPU-Z,
and my CPU rating is decreased to 4.5 (previously 7 or above). I checked CPU-Z showing the CPU running at a low speed.At task manager resource monitor in windows 8.1 it show CPU speed always at 0.76 GHz and remains same even if I load CPU heavily up to 100% .
But I also checked in Safe Mode it Worked fine there and CPU speed goes above 0.76 GHz and even to Turbo as well. But I can't figure out what is the problem in Normal Mode where CPU always runs at 0.76 GHz. How to figure out what's going on. I also diagnosed CPU by Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool and it passed everything. How can this be fixed.???

Need help with keyboard backlight (Dell Inspiron 15 7559)
Hello, I'm having a small problem with my new Dell laptop.
I can't find the option where I could set my keyboard backlight to stay on constantly. It keeps falling asleep (turning off) after a short period of time. It is really annoying late in the evening as I always have to wake it up. Is there any way I could turn off the automatic sleep mode or atleast prolong it?

Hi,
I'm looking to buy a laptop very soon (by the end of the year) and I would like to know if new laptop version will be available soon (after DellWorld?).
I was looking in Inspiron 15" models, but there is nothing I want.
I'm looking for a laptop where I can play some games (maybe not the most recent one in 60fps 1080p), but something I can play in high, 1080p and 30fps.
The Inspiron 15" 5000 models look beautiful. I love the light grey color of the laptop and DVD support, but the AMD R5 M335 doesn't do the job. Dell Chat support were saying me that I can play games easily with this laptop, but I wrote the AMD and they said me no. Also saw some videos and it seem that it's very poor in term of aliasing, framerates, etc.
The Inspiron 15" 7000 gaming series could be great, but some reviews are saying it only have 4h of battery life (on DELL website it's saying 11h). Also, I really don't like the colors they have (black and red).
